The main focus of the Council on Teaching is to establish guidelines, evaluate application and nomination materials, and select recipients for university-wide teaching awards, including but not limited to: 

• President and Provost Award for Teaching Excellence
• Hubbard-Walder Award for Excellence in Teaching
• Outstanding TA Awards
• Teaching in Higher Education Conference Awards
